Frequently asked questions
What services can we request from you?
We arrange domestic and international transport for a wide range of goods. We specialise in palletised goods, GMP+ certified feed transport, non-hazardous waste listed on the Green List, including paper, plastics and metals, oversized loads and general cargo.
Since 2026, we have also expanded our services to include the transport of dangerous goods under ADR regulations. We can also arrange the required permit for waste transport in Germany under Section 53 KrWG.
What types of transport does Kavasped provide?
We specialise primarily in European road freight transport and freight forwarding. We deliver your goods safely and reliably to their destination.
Do you operate only in the Czech Republic?
No. We arrange transport not only within the Czech Republic, but also throughout Europe, depending on the specific assignment and available transport solution.
Do you provide both one-off and regular transport services?
Yes. We can arrange both one-off transport and regular cooperation based on the customer’s needs. For recurring transport, we can establish a stable operating schedule, planning process and communication method.
Can you arrange urgent transport?
Yes. We see every urgent transport request as a challenge we are ready to take on.
How quickly can you respond to an enquiry?
We rely on fast and direct communication. Speed and reliability are among our key strengths.
What affects the cost of transport?
The price is mainly affected by the type and quantity of the cargo, the route, the required date, the type of vehicle, loading and unloading options and any special transport requirements.
Can I request transport without providing exact details?
Yes. You can send us an initial enquiry with approximate information. For a more accurate quotation, however, we will need details about the type of cargo, quantity, route, required date and any additional requirements.
What types of goods do you transport most frequently?
We most frequently arrange the transport of agricultural commodities, palletised goods, GMP+ certified feed, non-hazardous waste listed on the Green List, loose bulk materials, general cargo and ADR dangerous goods.
Do you transport agricultural commodities?
Yes. Agricultural commodities are among the types of cargo we regularly handle as part of our transport and freight forwarding services. The specific solution always depends on the quantity, route and required transport date.
Do you transport non-hazardous waste listed on the Green List?
Yes. As part of our transport and freight forwarding services, we also arrange the safe transport of waste classified under the so-called Green List. This includes, for example, non-hazardous plastic, metal and paper waste.
Do you transport palletised goods?
Yes. We transport palletised goods through both our freight forwarding services and our own fleet, depending on the specific transport solution. When submitting an enquiry, please include the number of pallets, their dimensions, weight and required transport date.
Can you arrange the transport of loose bulk materials?
Yes. We can handle the logistics of a wide range of commodities, including agricultural commodities, construction materials and loose bulk waste.
What does GMP+ certified transport mean?
GMP+ is a certified system for the transport of animal feed. Thanks to our GMP+ FSA certification, we can arrange transport where clearly defined standards and procedures must be followed.
When is GMP+ certified transport required?
GMP+ certified transport is suitable when transporting animal feed or related commodities that must comply with the requirements of the certified GMP+ FSA system.
Can you arrange a permit under Section 53 KrWG for Germany?
Yes. We will be happy to arrange the required permit for the transport of selected types of waste within Germany under Section 53 KrWG.
Which types of waste are covered by the Section 53 KrWG permit?
The permit applies to both packaged and loose waste listed on the so-called Green List. Its specific application always depends on the type of waste and the transport requirements.
How long is the Section 53 KrWG permit valid?
The permit is valid indefinitely and applies to the entire fleet, so it does not need to be arranged separately for each vehicle.
How much does it cost to arrange a Section 53 KrWG permit?
The price for our complete permit arrangement service is EUR 250.
Do you operate your own fleet?
Yes. Our company operates its own fleet, including Volvo tractor units and walking floor trailers.
What is a walking floor trailer?
A walking floor trailer is a specific type of semi-trailer. Its floor consists of moving slats operated by a hydraulic system. This system makes it possible to unload as well as load the goods.
One of the main advantages of these trailers is that they can transport both loose bulk materials and palletised goods.
What is the capacity of a walking floor trailer?
Our trailers have a loading volume of approximately 91 m³ and a payload of approximately 24 to 25 tonnes.
Can the trailers be loaded from both the top and the rear?
Yes. The trailers have solid side walls and a roof cover, allowing them to be loaded from the top or the rear depending on the type of goods.
When is your own fleet preferable, and when is freight forwarding more suitable?
Our own fleet is suitable for selected types of transport where specific equipment and greater control over the assignment are beneficial. Freight forwarding is more suitable when greater capacity, a different type of vehicle or faster availability of a transport solution is required.
